It’s a pain getting the bins to the road, so time to make a Bin Transporter!

The donor Quad was kindly supplied by my neighbours Anne & Andy.
It’s a bit tired, but there is still plenty of life in it yet, especially once I convert it to electric drive.

The engine does run, so it may get used in another project at some point. I don’t think it has ever had a clean and is quite oily on the underside. Apparently the fuel tank leaks and the brakes need sorting.

Until I get chance to strip it down I won’t know what else is wrong with it, but what ever it’s state it’s an excellent starting point.

There’s even tread left on the tyres ! 🙂

Now stripped of it’s fairings and benefiting from a good power wash with the steam cleaner I can now see what I have to work with. I kind of like the bare bones look TBH.
