The Microturbo Saphir is used on the BAE Hawk & Sepecat Jaguar amongst other aircraft to pneumatically start the main engines.

The Saphir 007 is a smallish unit, just a little bigger then a water bucket. It has an oversize compressor which though some electronics and pipe working can divert some of that extra air from the engine to start an aircraft’s main engine(s)
