new blue 188 tooth main gear

Above: The main gear removed from the free wheel hub and the helical
cut teeth of the replacement gear

Above: The new gear installed and the factory supplied Jesus bolt.
The bolt fails even to reach the locking part of the nut let alone have
the standard two thread safety protrusion

All sorted, the flimsy mild steel bolt has been replaced with a nice
stainless steel one of the correct length

Tail rotor gearbox instalation along with flex drive and coupling
